Our new design of the proposed resilient hybrid energy storage system has unique features with optimized performance based on the load profiles, weather, and grid conditions. Our hybrid energy storage technology includes distributed controllers to interface different energy storage technologies of battery, ultracapacitor, and flywheel units, with a sensor networks that are monitored in real-time with data analytics algorithms to optimize the overall performance and reduce energy storage capital and operating costs. One of the unique features of our hybrid energy storage technology is the ability to operate in ultra cold weather with reduced capital and operating costs with optimized performance.
